Creative Workshop ITOASOBI was founded in 1945 in the silk fabric production site Kyoto/Tango. We are driven by our company motto of "Clothing from 1m, Kimono from 1 tan," and will never compromise our standards for natural fibers (silk). Every part of our system is consistent, from dyeing to weaving.
ITOASOBI plans textiles and manufactures/sells clothing, mufflers, and other fabrics, pursuing added value through our weaving techniques. This includes hand weaving, Jacquard weaving, leno weaving, and dobby weaving, using hand-dyed threads.
All our textiles are available by order/small lot. Textile width will vary depending on the fabric due to the variety of threads and fabrics.
